Kill Bill: Vol. 1 Storyline

"The Bride" was once part of a group of world class female assassins, until the group leader, "Bill" and the other assassins turn against her. Four years later "The Bride" awakens from the coma the assassins left her in and heads out to seek bloody revenge. Unlike conventional movies, Kill Bill is told in chapter format making the narrative flow more like a book than a film.

Kill Bill: Vol. 1 goofs

CONT: When "#2" shows the picture of her daughter, she holds by the top/side between shots.
FACT: The details of Bill shooting The Bride are very detailed: hammer hitting primer, powder exploding in the cartridge, bullet exiting the rifled barrel of the pistol. But the bullet isn't spinning as one would do when exiting a rifled barrel.
CONT: The Bride cuts of the scalp from Oren's head. It falls to the ground with long hair. So does Oren in the scene after next.
FAIR: When the Bride boards the airplane she has the samurai sword with her in the cabin. Obviously, this wouldn't happen in reality. This is a stylistic choice for this film. The couple sitting directly behind The Bride have a sword as well, and a third sword can be seen.
MISC: During the fight scene between the Bride and Vernita Green when Vernita tries to impale the kitchen knife into the Bride on the dining table, you can see the rubber blade roll upwards as it strikes the tabletop.

"The Bride" was the deadliest assassin of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, until the day she decided to leave the business, assume a new identity, and get married. But it was on the day of her marriage that her old "friends" - O-Ren Ishii, Vernita Green, Budd, and Elle Driver, not to mention her boss, Bill - find her and assassinate the entire ceremony while Bill shoots her in the head, putting her in a coma. Well, Bill and his people should have tried a little harder because, after four years, the Bride has awakened from her coma. And Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned...
