Jackass Number Two trivia

'Johnny Knoxville' (qv) has said in interviews that he drew inspiration for some of the stunts from cartoons such as _"Tom and Jerry" (1965)_ (qv) and Looney Tunes. The scene where he blindfolds himself, for example, comes directly from an episode of _"Tom and Jerry" (1965)_ (qv) where Tom does much the same thing. He has also acknowledged a debt to Wile E. Coyote in the scene with the rocket.
In the scene where 'Chris Pontius' (qv) drinks the horse semen, the producers needed to censor him actually drinking the semen in order to prevent an NC-17 rating, it being deemed a "pornographic" act.
'Johnny Knoxville' (qv) was knocked unconscious three times while filming the movie.
After one of the stunts, 'Ryan Dunn (II)' (qv) makes a comment about his tail bone being broken, a reference to when 'Bam Margera' (qv) broke his tail bone on the TV show.
All scenes featuring 'Vincent Margera' (qv) were cut from the film due Vito's arrest for sexual assault one month before the film's release.
